Welcome to our Grand National tips page. The most-watched race on the calendar and a race that seems to captivate the whole nation. So much so that bookmakers have got into the habit of switching their infamous new customer deals off because they know people are looking to sign up to make their ‘one bet of the year’. Well if this is your one bet of the year or if you follow the racing calendar throughout you have come to the right place.

Our resident tipsters do not miss a trick all year. We make sure of this by getting them to place tips on our site each day to grow their popularity. Below you can find the views of some of our most successful tipsters on this huge race. Be warned though, that the Grand National has a reputation of being so treacherous, that any horse is capable of crossing the finishing post first.

TONY BATCHELOR

Hi guys, My National tip is Vintage Clouds. Lightly raced this season, loves soft ground and stays all day. Has a great weight with only 10-4 to carry.

ONE TIP PONY

Horse: Valerie Lido

Trainer: Henry De Bromhead

Jockey: Racheal Blackmore

Price: 66/1 Betfair – 6 Places

A horse at a massive price raced in the National last year off of 158. Faded towards the end but not a bad run. Mark has now gone down to 141. Off a nice lightweight could just be the key to the National this year if the bad weather continues with the ground becoming softer. Very good jockey on board. You never know.

KILDIMO

It was Rathvinden for me in the national Saturday, only the one run this season winning the bobbyjo at Fairyhouse, it was the win at Cheltenham last season that impressed me though, with the fact Ruby Walsh is up and a nice weight of 11st the boxes are ticked for me.

SMOKEOS

Ramses De Teillee

25/1

6 places EW

DIXIETIPS

Step Back. Has been prepped for this race since winning the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in impressive style last year, lightly raced and is a good jumper on his day. Could go well at a decent price.

YOTAKNAT

JURY DUTY

Not far away from recent races this race the ground seems to have come in its favour cant see this not being in the frame at all @ 14/1 looks a tidy ew bet to get the power up on the board for this race operating +27.88 last 14 days between them.

CHATOVBURLEY

VALSEUR LIDO 100/1

Beaten a long way when 8th last season but he did travel well until his stamina gave way half a mile out. That was heavy and it’s not going to be as testing this year. Add to that he carries 15lb less and this time has the assistance in the saddle of Rachael Blackmore who has been on board for six of his seven starts since last year’s race. Could she become the first woman to win the National? Probably not, but stranger things have happened.

BOBCAT

General Principle 40/1, won the Irish National, goes well on soft & heavy, definitely a spring horse, JJ Slevin 1/1 aboard.. chance…

IKEM007

Walk in the Mill28/1, this Stallion has winning form at Aintree in his pedigree from his sire. He has posted premier speed ratings at Aintree previously. Boasts a jockey with a good course record. The farther this horse runs, the better he gets.
